Open Paint Fridays & Saturdays (and other days) at Back Mountain Makery in Dallas invite guests of all ages and abilities to stop in, relax and create something unique. Visitors can walk in, choose a pre-fired ceramic piece and enjoy a casual painting experience throughout the day.

Ceramic prices vary to fit a range of budgets, including children’s pieces starting at $5 for young makers. Vintage Christmas trees are also available year-round starting at $118 and include bulbs, stars and light kits.

All supplies are included with the price of each ceramic piece. Guests can use acrylic paints and acrylic top coats while learning painting techniques like dry brushing and antiquing along the way. No kiln, paint, palette or sitting fees apply.

Reservations are recommended, though walk-ins are welcome based on seating availability. Guests may also bring snacks and take unfinished projects home to complete later.
